Without field staff, Game Camp USA only exists on paper, for it is directors and counselors that turn concept into reality by delivering campers a safe, fun and educational experience.
Executive Directors (year-round, off-site)
Executive directors procure facilities, register campers and provide year-round, off-site support to customers and venues. As former on-site directors themselves, they also hire and support on-site field staff, personally training and frequently visiting them for quality control.
Directors (seasonal, on-site)
Directors supervise the program and other on-site field staff, manage health services, facilitate dining services and overnight accommodations, maintain equipment and supplies and provide seasonal, on-site support to customers and venues. Director jobs are open to those aged 25+ with:
- At least 2 seasons of experience as assistant director, or equivalent experience
- A bachelor’s degree
- A clean background check
- Current first aid and CPR certifications, usually obtained after an offer of employment
Assistant Directors (seasonal, on-site)
Assistant directors instruct and supervise campers as counselor role models, enforce the program schedule and temporarily substitute as directors. Assistant director jobs are open to those aged 21+ with:
- Curricular proficiency
- A bachelor’s degree, or in active pursuit thereof
- A clean background check
- Current first aid and CPR certifications, usually obtained after an offer of employment
Counselors (seasonal, on-site)
